Valentine's Day Treat

This is a fun treat I have been making with all my kids and their friends all month long!
It's nice because my 12-year-old twins can make them by themselves with their friends.
1. Bought these pans at Michael's

2. I tried greasing them up with shortening but the suckers still got stuck so we decided tin foil was the best route... let us know if you get a better solution!  We tried to smooth the foil in the hearts as much as possible in order to make the suckers look as smooth as possible.

3.  Put in 8" sticks (available at Michael's or other craft stores)
4.  Put 7-8 unwrapped Jolley Ranchers in the heart.. putting one or two on the stick helps it to stay down better.
5.  Put a tray under the heart shape molds and put in oven on 275-300 degrees for 12-14 minutes (watch till totally melted.)
6.  Remove from oven and spin sticks till fully coated.

7.  Allow for suckers to cool.  When cool, take foil off and enjoy!
